About SALA
Save Animals for Love Association (SALA) was established in Jul of 2021, the most challenging of times during the COVID-19 pandemic in Taiwan. The most thing we want to do is to encourage everyone to be more empathetic, respectful and willing to peacefully co-exist with animals. The overall philosophy of SALA is that all life should be respected, protected animals/wild animals/stray animals should be conserved, non-animal products should be chosen for consumption, and illegally sourced meat should be avoided.

Our Tasks
#Animal-related information dissemination
- Provide animal related formation or perspective with in-depth research/analyses/reports.
- Focus on important ecological information to raise awareness.
#Animal welfare actions
- Provide animal friendly and protection education to the students and people.
- Promote the “act to save animals "call to action to encourage public participation.
#Animal-friendly professional networking
- Promote the “act to save animals" call to action to encourage private enterprises to respond.
- Collaborate with professionals on transforming the industry into a more animal-friendly trade.
#Animal protection instructor training
- Train seed lecturers/teachers.
- Train local lecturers and volunteers.
#To get laboratory animals adopted
- Some of laboratory animals like rabbits are still health after the experiments. However, if there is no resettlements procedure, they will be euthanized eventually. We collaborate with the laboratory animals center to find people who are interested in laboratory animals available for rehoming. We believe that it’s a better way for laboratory animals to reborn for living well in their rest of life..
